#Configuring nuendo 5 audio interface how to
So my question is how to and where enable that option so I can use vst instruments by not opening the new project and enabling the monitor option, and same problem occur in my nuendo 4 wich is steinberg program two and similar as cubase. But when I open new project and then open vst connection window and enable that little Monitor speaker beside Recording, I can normally use vst-s, and there is signal in vst connection window and plugins two. When you create a new Audio Track, Nuendo prompts you for the configuration of this track the most common options (mono, stereo, LRCS, 5.0 and 5.1) are in easy reach of the main pop-up menu, with other setups ranging from three to 12 channels available in an extra submenu. If actually recording in surround, you’ll also need to define what inputs of your audio interface will be used. Be sure to click Apply to confirm the configuration change before you exit the menu. Then the I/O setup will be added to your current configuration. You can also simply drag-and-drop the device configuration file onto the Audio I/O Setup window. My sound card is normally selected as you can see. Before you can create a project in surround, you need to tell Logic Pro which outputs of your interface are connected to which speaker. The I/O configuration will replace your current one then. I was looking in preferences but I couldn't find anything to set up to enable that. When I open Cubase without any project only vst instruments window open and some plugin selected, there is no midi signal in it but signal from keyboard is coming in the control bar down as you can see. easy to control Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Cubase, Ableton Live, and more.
I will add some pictures, becouse is much easier to explain my problem when you see it on picture: ioStation 24c: 2x2 USB-C compatible audio interface and production controller. Hello I didn't want to open new thread becouse mine is similar to this one.
